The Hunt Room and Victorian Garden Room Suite are located on
the first floor and feature private access to the wraparound porch. On cold
days, the flames of the fireplace in The Hunt Room (left) inspire
relaxation in this comfortable room. Adorned with unusual rocks, fossils
and quartz, the fireplace was updated in the 1950’s with the Youngblood’s
new found “oil money”. An antique lawyer's bookcase holds a variety of
books and a satellite television with a VCR will certainly add to your
enjoyment. However, the the front porch seems to be the "drawing card" for most
everyone. The Charalampous family, the innkeepers, proudly
display hunting trophies on the hunter green walls. From the porch you
might spot deer or wild turkey feeding in the pasture or
squirrels and hummingbirds frolicking in the yard.
